Best Schools in Pleasant View, Utah: A Parent's Guide for Families

If you're moving to Pleasant View, Utah with kids, one of your first questions is probably "Where will my children go to school?" Pleasant View sits right under Ben Lomond Peak in north Weber County, and it's served by Weber School District. Most of the city feeds into Weber High School, home of the Warriors. 

Below is every public school whose boundaries cover Pleasant View for the 2026–27 school year, plus nearby charter and choice options. After that, I've answered the questions I hear most from families shopping for homes here.

A quick note on grades: Weber School District uses a K–6 elementary, 7–9 junior high and 10–12 high school setup, so ninth graders are still in junior high.

Lomond View's boundary covers the largest share of Pleasant View, mostly the northern and eastern parts of the city. It's one of the district's longtime neighborhood schools, and the Pleasant View community rallied hard to keep it open in 2025. It remains open and on the district's 2026–27 boundary map.

Orchard Springs is one of the district's newer elementary schools. Its boundary covers much of the southern and western part of Pleasant View.

Part of southwest Pleasant View, toward Farr West, falls in the Fremont Silverwolves' boundary. If you're looking at homes on that side of town, check this one carefully.

How do school boundaries work in Pleasant View?

Every home in Pleasant View is assigned to one elementary, one junior high and one high school based on its address. Weber School District draws these lines and updates them from time to time as neighborhoods grow. Pleasant View is a good example of why that matters: the city is split between three elementary boundaries and two high school boundaries. Two homes a short drive apart in the same city can go to different schools.

How can I check which schools a specific address feeds into?

Use the district's own map rather than a home-search website, because third-party sites are sometimes out of date. Go to the Weber School District Boundary Maps page and open the 2026–27 elementary, junior high or high school map. Then click the magnifying glass in the lower right corner and type in the address. When I'm working with a family, I check this for every home before we write an offer.

Can my child attend a school outside our boundary?

Often, yes. Utah allows open enrollment, which means you can apply for a school other than the one assigned to your address. The main application window for the next school year opens in the fall and closes in early February. Late applications are accepted only if the school has room. A few things to know:

• Acceptance depends on space at the school you're requesting.
• The district generally doesn't provide busing for open-enrollment students, so plan on driving.

Charter schools like Maria Montessori Academy have their own applications (and a lottery when there are more applicants than seats), separate from the district.

Do schools affect home values in Pleasant View?

They do. Many buyers filter their home search by school, so homes inside a sought-after boundary tend to draw more interest. Being close to a school can help too: a home within walking distance of Lomond View or Orchard Springs, or a short drive to Weber High, is a real selling point for families. The boundary is also something buyers ask about when you sell, so it pays to know your home's schools and mention them in the listing.

Are there new neighborhoods near these schools?

Pleasant View still has open land, and new homes keep going up. If you're considering new construction, confirm the school assignment for the specific lot, since boundaries in growing areas are the ones most likely to change.
